Catering/Reception Site/Day of Coordinator
Sandbar/Patti- So far, it has been a pleasure working with Sandbar, Patti especially. We met back in August to go over the menu and linen decor. She was not your typical over the top salesperson. My aunt wanted us to pay extra for nice glassware, Patti was honest and told us that while we could do it, it would limit where people could walk with their drinks (glass on the beach is a big no no) and the new plastic stemware they have looks almost real. I appreciated her honesty! Most other wedding vendors I have talked to would have just added it to make the price go up!
Same went for food, she told us what she thought would be enough, even though we were prepared to have more!
I am not really that into the whole traditional cake thing, so we decided for a chocolate fountain, with a variety of items to dip. As well as a slices of Key Lime Pie in a kind of dessert buffett set up! That way our guests get a test of real Florida Key Lime!

Sarasota Flower Girls- Still in the process of developing a final proposal with Deb, but so far I am pleased with what they have come up with!

Choose to use Dara Caudill of Island Photography. So far she has been easy to communicate with but we are still at the early stages. Check back for a review!
Music
Using Dara's husband, Chuck Caudill to provide cocktail hour and reception entertainment. During cocktail hour I plan on having him play guitar....probably a variety of beachy type acoustic songs. Then after dinner he will switch over to DJ. So far he has been easy as well to communicate with, and his forms to fill out ahead of time are thurough. I don't anticipate any problems.
